The research discusses the most promising area of automating the work of HR services–HR analytics. HR analytics has significant potential for improving the decision-making system in the activities of any company. The authors clarified the content of the concept of HR analytics, presented the tasks, functions, and tools of HR analytics in domestic companies, summarized the results of a survey of HR specialists representing small companies about the specifics of implementing HR analytics, and formulated conclusions about the specifics of implementing HR analytics in small Russian companies. The authors relied on research by leading scientists who consider the importance and necessity of HR analytics, which allows companies to integrate existing personnel data into a coherent system to best manage human resources and synchronize the personnel management system with the company’s strategic development goals. When conducting the study, the authors used theoretical and statistical methods, as well as a survey method, to identify and analyze the specifics of using HR analytics in small companies. The conducted research has significant prospects for further research into HR analytics, which relates to managing the current work of small companies and the efficiency of using personnel in general.
