No communication should create any misunderstanding between the parties. The person who sends the message should actually mean what he/she has tried to communicate, and the receiver should understand it clearly. Good communication should be based on facts and figures and authentic data, should be very clear, and should use only polite language. Communication channels should be defined from seniors to the juniors for sufficient clarity. Examples of various types of communications (internal, external) and with statutory authorities; with clients, suppliers, and pollution control authorities; and with consultants and juniors are given.
