Addressing Challenges in the Field of EX
摘要
The field of EX has garnered considerable attention in recent years, with numerous organizations recognizing it as a strategic priority. From an academic perspective, however, the progress toward deepening the body of scientific literature has been slow. Similar to concepts such as employee engagement, initial efforts to define the scope and principles of EX were primarily driven by practice, often spearheaded by consulting firms and in-house HRM teams. From a theoretical standpoint, substantial work remains to establish EX as a distinct domain with a sound theoretical foundation. This chapter explores the challenges that the field of EX must address to become a sustainable and distinct practice and offers recommended priorities in moving forward.
