The final chapter is an overview of how young art creators ages 16–24 make creative digital content using mobile devices and utilizing it in transformative ways to make visual, creative digital texts. Young art students’ social media usage and informal learning networks are summarized in terms of the challenges and benefits in connection to education. Specifically examined are online interactions, relationships, research, production, and dissemination of online student art. The themes discussed are about participants (1) offline and online practices during the early years of COVID-19; (2) creative work in networked environments and how this affects them and their teachers; (3) issues using social media; and (4) awareness of and concerns about artificial intelligence. For educators, administrators, parents, and students, we offer insights about youths’ multifaceted and complex learning in formal and informal environments to help them understand the complexities of digital visual learning networks and discuss positive perspectives regarding visual social media usage within education.
