Hypophysitis Post Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Therapy
摘要
This is a case of melanoma treated with ipilimumab/nivolumab and surgical resection. During pre-operative evaluation, imaging findings on PET/CT and MRI were suggestive of hypophysitis despite a lack of symptoms and normal hormone levels. The patient became symptomatic 2 weeks after MRI findings were reported with an abnormality of cortisol, ACTH, TSH, and T4 laboratory values confirming adrenal insufficiency and hypothyroidism, which has since been managed with steroids and levothyroxine effectively. His cancer also achieved remission.
