Membranous Nephropathy Post Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors
摘要
We presented a patient with history of autoimmune disease of the kidney which was reactivated after cancer diagnosis and exacerbated with immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) treatment. Patient’s reactivation of membranous nephropathy was due to a secondary cause which was the dual ICI therapy for his metastatic melanoma. Rituximab achieved excellent response and resolution of proteinuria after one cycle which was maintained on ICI for over 2 years with no exacerbation of his membranous nephropathy.
