Theoretical Perspectives of the Application of Digital Technologies in Music Therapy
摘要
The aim of this research is to provide a theoretical basis for the evaluation and application of a variety of digital technologies in music therapy, specifying the opportunities that these instruments offer. The present study was motivated by the increasing interest the authors have observed in the use of technology in music therapy, as well as the emergence of research exploring human-AI collaboration in creative music activities or live performances, in music composition or production. The results of previous research confirm the improvement of performance-based music therapy activities, vocal singing or instrument singing, when digital technologies are used. However, what is missing at the moment is the therapeutic context of these activities and the confirmation of their efficacy, by employing them in larger research samples (research batch). In this context, the present paper aims to bring together a large part of these innovative technological applications, in order to make them known and applicable in future music therapy research. This paper is interdisciplinary and is intended for information technology specialists in the development of software for music therapy and music, as well as for specialists in the field of music.
