Goitered gazelles are very well adapted to their habitat: they use topography and vegetation to protect themselves from heat in summer and cold and wind in winter; prefers loose soil for resting and hard ground to escape from predators; they can have brackish and even bitter-tasting water. If it were not for humans and their economic activity, this species would be one of the most numerous ungulates so far.
