Best Practices for Teaching Yoga for Positive Embodiment
摘要
Positive embodiment is a concept developed by Western theorists and psychologists in response to the need to assist those with eating disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder to derive pleasure and joy from the embodied experience. The practice of yoga is one discipline that has been shown to be instrumental in the development of positive embodiment. Two aspects of yoga may enhance the impact of positive embodiment: the environment and the cueing used by the yoga teacher.
