The research aims to provide sufficient evidence that the explication of the cognitive parameters of the English way construction effectively serves as the conceptual basis for the design of AI language processing tools and teaching technologies in the sphere of theoretical and applied linguistics. The authors exteriorize cognitive models underlying the semantics of various way construction instantiations from the corpora of up-to-date databases. The applied methods include those from cognitively oriented grammars and conceptual semantics and are based on the experiment. The research verifies the relevance of the highlighted concepts for the enhancement of students’ linguistic competencies and AI felicitous algorithms in language processing. Thus, the knowledge of conceptual parameters of the way construction within integral and variable values noticeably enhances students’ ability to navigate through its semantic diversity. It has been shown that the conceptual structure of the English way construction can be utilized by AI for students to obtain the best techniques in mastering translation routine via implementing it into various theoretical issues (e.g., machine translation training, semantic and comparative analysis, AI-powered interactive learning, semantic mapping, or corpus linguistics). The relevance of the presented research consists of leveraging the cognitive structure of English way construction and AI potential in optimizing the teaching methodology for translation theory and practice.
