‘Without Limits’: Witnessing Change in Young Women in an Inner City Secondary School
摘要
Focusing on a case study of practice within a Drama department for an all-girls secondary school in London, this chapter examines the implementation of applied theatre as a means of enabling students attending the school to achieve ‘without limits’. The case study shares the approach taken by the Head of Drama to explore the potential of applied theatre projects implemented in this context. It draws out ways of reading the impact of the work in action from the perspective of both practitioner and participants, using a feminist approach to analysis that is person-centred, locating the individual participants at the centre of applied theatre projects.
