Natural climate solutions by private and public as well as individual change agents are needed now more than ever to achieve climate neutrality. This chapter investigates how these sectors are interlinked and contribute to adapting to climate change and dealing with the residual impacts of climate change. The private sector is a crucial innovator that uses technology and financing to push the boundaries of sustainability, while the public sector offers necessary guidance, policies, and investments to support collective action. Social mobilization happens at the grassroots level through individuals who act as change agents, either in how they live their own lives or through advocacy efforts and engagement in their communities. This emphasizes what it means to practice personal responsibility around climate action. Each sector confronts distinct hurdles that may slow advancement, whether due to financial limitations regulatory uncertainties, or social barriers. This chapter demonstrates that there are incredible interdependencies between players in the climate arena, and they need to work together, privately with public and individual actors, not only on policy development but also in making operational their joint strategy for climate neutrality.
