Julius Caesar’s leadership evolved significantly over his career, demonstrating his growth from a determined young leader to a complex figure at the pinnacle of power. This chapter reviews how Caesar’s leadership developed over time with the help of the Global Executive Leadership Mirror (GELM®) framework. The evolution of Caesar’s leadership behaviours throughout his career is explained and the previous chapters’ evaluations are summarised. The chapter ends by reflecting on what contributed to and hindered this development.
