Numerous strategies and regulatory initiatives that have operationalised the European Green Deal since its launch in December 2019 included specific references to the Single Market, aiming for broad-ranging impacts. Evidence of impact to date indicate notable changes within the Single Market in several areas. Many of these changes are a result of research and innovation projects.
