The Conscious Leather Design Academy is a pilot project initiated by Officina Vanvitelli and Lineapelle with the objective of enhancing the sustainability, technology, and innovation of the leather sector. This initiative facilitates the connection between universities and companies, thereby enabling the sharing of benefits through the implementation of advanced training programmes. The project's objective is to facilitate the green and digital transitions in the tanning sector of Solofra, while also showcasing the work of designers in various sectors, including footwear and leather accessories. The Academy's integration of artificial intelligence is intended to address overproduction and waste issues, thereby fostering a sustainable and competitive leather industry aligned with the values of Made in Italy.
