This work addresses the delicate issue of sexual violence by configuring it as the most extreme form of border violation and the pathological and perverse expression of contact processes. In the vast scenery of violent sexual behaviors there are the abuse and sexual violence of minors, and rape of adults, whose authors are submitted to an in-depth analysis of the personality through the examination of the family background to which they belong, the evolutionary genesis of dysfunctional modalities, and the specific, different, emotional-relational styles used. The study of this theme, addressed within the epistemological framework of Gestalt Therapy, in its most recent updates, will be integrated with the exposition of a clinical case and with the examination of the therapeutic path centered on the care and restoration of the healthy functions of the Self.
