In 2012, the 50th anniversary of Applied Optics has been celebrated by the Optical Society of America. This has been the opportunity, among other features, to publish special issues. In one of them, a paper by Gouesbet and Lock, pertaining to a list of the most published authors, has been published in 2013 under the title: “List of problems for future research in generalized Lorenz-Mie theories and related topics, review and prospectus [Invited],” discussing 35 problems, with 230 references. A bit more than 10 years later, the present chapter examines how some of the problems have indeed been solved, while others are still waiting for a solution, without forgetting the fact that new problems appeared on the stage.

摘要
