Those Queer English Hats
摘要
Did you ever notice the queer hats worn by the Irving contingent? Sir Henry, as you no doubt know, has a perfect army of attendants, and there is not a man in the entire congregation who does not wear a hat that the “dogs do bark at” even as their shadows fall athwart them. Sir Henry’s peculiar derby, of the vintage of old Tony Denler, as “Biff Hall” describes it, has been the subject of such wide-spread comment that it seems superfluous for me to make mention of it here, while Bram Stoker’s high “dice” has excited the risibilities of the inhabitants from New York to San Francisco.
