Mr. Bram Stoker, Mr. Irving’s manager, has been telling a good story concerning a rush for tickets at a Lyceum first night. In reply to the demand from an Irish paper, two seats in the best boxes were sent by Mr. Stoker. It occurred to the officials of the theatre on the great night that the Irish representative was diminutive, and the lady who accompanied him not exactly as smart as might have been expected under the circumstances.
