The eyelid comprises multiple tissues, each of which can give rise to several benign or malignant tumors and can host systemic cancer metastasis and chronic infiltrative lesions. This chapter demonstrates the manifestations of the different kinds of tumors involving each eyelid tissue and their management. The eyelid tumors include skin epidermal tumors, sebaceous gland tumors, melanocytic, neural, and vascular tumors, as well as tumors of the sweat glands and hair follicles. Lesions and tumors of the eyelid stroma and metastatic and infiltrative lesions are described. The chapter highlights the general rules of surgical management of eyelid tumors, including tumor excision and the principles of eyelid reconstruction. Other treatment modalities for eyelid tumors, including radiotherapy, medical therapeutics, cryosurgery, and lasers, are highlighted.
