Attention to disabled people and their employability in the workplace is one of the fundamental cornerstones of advanced Western societies. In this historical and social context, an assessment of the disabled person is no longer just biological and medical, but also social (assessed in terms of the level of integration of the subject into society) and psychological. The authors analyze the “Guidelines on targeted placement of people with disabilities”, recently introduced in Italy, dictated by the Ministerial Decree Lavoro P.S. n. 43/2022, which as a whole constitute a new assessment model to be harmonized in the ICF procedures already in use for some time. 摘要

The authors, using the professional and scientific experience gained in their capacity as members of the Integrated Medical Commissions of the U.O.C. The medical examiner of the INPS of Salerno (identified by the Italian Minister for Disability as a pilot site for the experimentation of the reform issued by Legislative Decree 62/2024) proposes and experimentally validates some possible operational methodologies for the application of the innovative approach, established by the aforementioned guidelines, and the subsequent harmonization with the ICF framework.
