Leadership in the modern era requires a profound understanding of cultural diversity, coupled with the ability to adapt to the evolving complexities of cross-cultural interactions. This chapter presents an innovative framework for leadership development, rooted in comparative culturology and heuristic principles. By integrating cultural insights, ecological organizational models, and ancient traditions like Ayurveda, the chapter provides a forward-thinking approach to navigating cross-cultural management in global business. The chapter introduces the “5V planning index,” which highlights critical environmental parameters shaping leadership development. These parameters are further distilled into the N5 model—a cultural and organizational framework designed to foster organic and transformative growth within organizations. Central to this model are three essential leadership dimensions: focus, flows, and facilitation. Inspired by Ayurveda’s “dosha” energies, these dimensions are proposed as the foundation for effective leadership in cross-cultural environments. By synthesizing traditional wisdom with modern organizational strategies, the chapter offers a new perspective on leadership as a dynamic interplay between culture and cognition. It demonstrates how leaders can harness cultural dexterity to build inclusive, resilient, and future-ready organizations. Moreover, it emphasizes the significance of leadership as both an agent of cultural influence and a product of cultural learning, showcasing how leaders can transcend individualistic constraints to champion collective growth and shared purpose. The chapter concludes by outlining an interdisciplinary research agenda to advance the understanding of cross-cultural leadership. It proposes the development of a “leadership intelligence compass” to equip leaders with tools to navigate the challenges of global business while fostering cultural harmony. This chapter provides a roadmap for cultivating essential leadership competencies, that align with the principles of modern cross-cultural management, empowering leaders to inspire, innovate, and unify across diverse cultural landscapes.

摘要
