Emerging Trends in Nanobionics for Endurable Agriculture
摘要
Growing global population, climate change, and resource depletion present the agricultural industry with urgent concerns that call for creative solutions to ensure sustainable food supply. By fusing nanotechnology and biological processes, nanobionics provides revolutionary ways to improve agricultural methods. Through increased nutrient solubility and bioavailability, nanofertilizers improve nutrient absorption and mitigate environmental effects. In the meanwhile, customized pest control is made possible by nanopesticides, which maximize pest-fighting performance while using less chemical. Furthermore, real-time soil and plant health monitoring is made easier by the incorporation of nanosensors into precision agriculture, which encourages data-driven decision-making for resource efficiency. Notwithstanding the encouraging possibilities, there are still issues to be resolved, including legal frameworks, environmental safety, and the requirement for in-depth study on long-term consequences. This research investigates precision agriculture, nanopesticides, and nanofertilizers as applications of nanobionics.
