Study on Degradation of Methylene Blue by Photocatalytic Regenerated Permeable Concrete

At present, methylene blue, as a representative of dye wastewater, harms the ecological environment and is difficult to be decomposed naturally, which has become an urgent problem to be solved. So, in this paper, three kinds of coatings were applied to recycled permeable concrete to prepare photocatalytic recycled permeable concrete, and the degradation efficiency system of methylene blue was made, the evaluation index of degradation efficiency of methylene blue was described, and the effects of coating types and TiO2 content on degradation efficiency of methylene blue were explored. The results show that the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of water-borne TiO2 suspension recycled pervious concrete (WO) is the highest, and the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of TiO2 cement mortar polymer recycled pervious concrete (CM) is slightly higher than that of TiO2 cement paste spray coating (CS). The photocatalytic degradation efficiency will increase with the increase of TiO2 content, but the photocatalytic performance will not increase obviously when the content is too large.
