Stella Pharma has been conducting clinical trials targeting recurrent head and neck cancer and recurrent malignant glioma following a nonclinical trial period. In Japanese phase II trials for unresectable recurrent head and neck cancer and unresectable locally advanced head and neck cancer (non-squamous cell carcinoma), results show a 71.4% response for the primary endpoint, with a response rate up to 90 days after BNCT. Stella Pharma observed a clinical significance in the response rate for locally recurrent head and neck cancer, as well as a tolerable safety profile.
