ReconstructionReconstruction can occur immediately after complete histological removal of the tumor, which in most instances occurs on the same day. Additionally, the fresh-tissue technique is less painful and quicker, and conserves more tissue than the fixed-tissue technique. This chapter details the introduction as well as how to perform the fresh-tissue technique.
