Integrating Person-Centric Healthcare with Hospital Management Systems: A Comprehensive Analysis for Enhanced Emergency Case Management
摘要
This chapter makes an effort to engage the perspective of person-centric approaches to healthcare through integration with hospital management systems for better emergency case management. It is through integration of personal patient care with advanced technologies in hospital management that the integration aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of emergencies. Person-centric healthcare will focus on medical services tailored to the specific needs, preferences, and conditions of each patient so as to get care as best as it can be. Hospital management systems make it possible to quickly and clearly organize a person's patient data, allocate available resources, and improve the operation of workflow in healthcare facilities. The synergy of both methods has a lot of benefits-the speed of response in emergency situations; better health outcomes for patients due to quality and timely therapy; and a more dynamic and responsive system of healthcare in general. It also addresses some other issues that have come as part and parcel of integrating the systems themselves, such as issues of technological interoperability, data security concerns, and implementation complexity. Moreover, the technological solution to this integration may be in terms of machine learning, real-time monitoring devices, and predictive analytics that can further integrate it. Finally, this section concludes with the future potential of the approach going to bring innovative emergency care management leading to improved, efficient patient-centric healthcare delivery systems.
