This chapter describes the state of clinical supervision in Colombia, analyzing the role played by guilds, associations, and organizations that promote training, dialogue and learning on topics such as clinical supervision, in the qualification of the competencies of clinical supervisors within the framework of professional and postgraduate training. In the light of the results of the research line advanced by the author, it analyzes the current status, developments, and systematization opportunities to measure and qualify the supervisor’s competencies in Colombia, in harmony with the main evidence-based guidelines and models, coming from the developments in English-speaking countries and fidelity to the conditions of the national and Latin American context.
