100 Acres
摘要
The 3Ecologies Project found its shape over a dozen years, and its place in 2020. Its site, close to Ste. Anne du Lac, Quebec, is a forested tract of 100 Acres, off-grid. The three ecologies—the social, the conceptual and the environmental, each transversal to the other—are lived in their complex imbrication, the project not a “return to the land” (as though the land could somehow be returned to, segregated from itself), but an approach to that singular set of pragmatic operations a land tract such as this one proposes in a continuous interplay of art, philosophy, gardening, mapleing, convening. Our aim, to take property out of the market—to give the forest back to itself—in what we think of as a parapedagogy of resistance—an engagement with living and learning—is a work in progress, emergently collective, in minor sociality.
