Introduction: Ecologies in Practice and Learning: Arts Interventions in the Earth Crisis
摘要
In these times of drastic change for the Earth’s biosphere, arts education practice research is amplifying multiple voices for bringing the Earth to a better place for as many billions of years as possible, in as short a time as possible. Our information suggests that there is little time to prevent the planet being robbed of all of its resources, before this hollowing extractivism takes us beyond any temperate climate or nature, to that extremely sad void of no return. This hopelessness is what the collected authors of this book passionately want to fight against, in the here and now—for a more flexible sense of what the future could be. Routes via arts practice, education and research are collected here in a constellation of international approaches that are making this really urgent work more engaging, accessible, enjoyable, entertaining and even playful.
