A Database for the Generation of Synthetic Population from Public Information Sources in Spain
摘要
This paper presents the definition of an open-source synthetic population at a detailed geographic level (a Spanish city) for period 2022–2024. The work, a replica of the simulation carried out by Prédhumeau & Manley (2023), and based on Spanish cadastral data from 2021 and population projections, allows the definition of the characteristics of synthetic individuals (sociodemographic attributes such as gender, age, employment, income, educational level, and households to which they belong). These synthetic populations will allow studying the application of local public policies and analyzing their impact in the short or long term. The construction of synthetic populations for specific areas and the analysis of their associated data will allow exploring new operating scenarios for present and future populations.
