Therefore, the role of all users is crucial throughout the building process to create habitats that cater to changing societal demands over the years. In recent years, the development of new digital systems has generated new opportunities to improve various stages of the building process. Digitizing participatory approaches allows all stakeholders to actively contribute to the decision-making process by providing immediate feedback and shaping spaces based on the real needs of users. This approach not only promotes more inclusive design but also creates stronger connections between designers and those who will inhabit the constructed spaces. The ability to analyze large data allows artificial intelligence to predict user needs and propose potential solutions, favoring the creation of architectural environments that adapt to the changing needs of society. The use of augmented reality provides an advanced view of spaces, allowing real-time management of information and potential design changes, and promoting greater understanding and active participation of stakeholders throughout the building process. Additionally, the transparency and interactivity offered by augmented reality significantly enhance communication between designers and clients. Simultaneously, virtual reality offers an immersive experience beyond traditional visualization, enabling users to explore spaces as if they were already built. This facilitates data and feedback collection, streamlining the creative and implementation process. Integrating digital tools transforms the conception and planning of environments, redefining the roles of users and stakeholders in the creative process.
