Developing Digital and Pedagogical Competences in Postgraduate Management Students

Business management education is a trend in the development of a knowledge-based society within the European Union. In both Ukraine and Europe, business management education is occurring in a highly dynamic context. Developing postgraduate students’ teaching and digital skills places significant emphasis on the university’s learning environment, the digital competence of scientific advisors and the content of relevant academic disciplines. The article explores methods for improving Management students’ teaching and digital skills through mandatory teaching practice. The authors present empirical data from a number of student surveys assessing their learning experience in a typical institution of higher education of Ukraine and summarize students’ learning needs. The article identifies a number of growth opportunities, including informal learning, teachers’ digital competence and updates to the content of academic disciplines.
