In recent years, the landscape of education has undergone significant transformation, particularly with the rapid expansion of online learning. This shift has underscored the critical importance of teachers’ competencies in effectively delivering online education. Teachers’ proficiency in online teaching not only impacts their ability to deliver content effectively but also influences their attitudes and behaviors towards the learning process. Thus, understanding and developing these competencies is essential for enhancing the overall quality of education in the digital age. In this research, teachers were asked questions about their qualifications. For example, they were asked about their competence in teaching online or their competence in creating online content. 56 teachers attending a certificate program participated in the research. The average age of the teachers is 28, with 82% of the participants being women and the rest men. According to the research results, the majority of teachers do not consider themselves competent in creating content digitally. They also stated that they did not want to provide online education due to this inadequacy. It has become clear that while online education is valuable, it must be delivered in a highly qualified and efficient way to maximize its impact.
