The research aims to measure the level of economic security according to the methodology presented by the authors based on the chosen 20 macroeconomic indicators. The country’s economic security was evaluated using the score evaluation method and the method of creating a matrix. Limit (threshold) values are quantitative parameters through which it becomes possible to assess the degree of vulnerability and threat of the situation formed in certain sectors of the economy. According to the evaluation of the economic security level by matrix method, the indicators of economic security are classified by the probability of occurrence of the hazard, the extent of its impact, and the stability against undesirable manifestations. The sum assessment of economic security based on 20 indicators increased from 7.8 points in 1995 to 11.3 points in 2022. However, it is still far from the maximum indicator, which, according to the proposed methodology, can be 20 points. Ensuring economic security independently for a country with a small and open economy is complicated. Based on the research results, the authors consider it appropriate to create a system of macroeconomic indicators that form the core of economic security, which should be subject to constant monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting of indicators to determine the deviation of the indicators from their marginal value.

摘要
