Strategic Entrepreneurship as the Basis for Sustainable Generation of ESG Capital of an Economic Entity: Methodological Aspect in the Segment of Small- and Medium-Sized Businesses
摘要
Small- and medium-sized enterprises collectively play one of the key roles in the orientation of industries and territories, large corporate and government structures to innovations that are so necessary to ensure the sustainable development of the latter in the ESG paradigm. It is they who can adaptively, quickly and timely provide certain “products”, solutions and services to large business entities to ensure the implementation and dissemination of ESG programs and projects, relying on strategic entrepreneurship as the basis for sustainable generation of ESG capital (including by transferring such “products” and services to the category of strategically important) in their activities. To identify the nature of strategic entrepreneurship as a conceptual basis (business model, approach) of administrative coordination of sustainable development of small- and medium-sized businesses (from the point of view of methodology), this article discusses the following issues: the relevance of the implementation of the directions of sustainable development and ESG management in the segment of small- and medium-sized businesses; the application of a product approach to the implementation of joint ESG development by its participants; identification of the essence of strategic entrepreneurship as a business model of SME development in the ESG paradigm and other related aspects. The authors have also proposed approaches to determining the essence of ESG capital of an economic entity.
