Case Method for Assessing the Transition of the Forestry Sector to the Use of Innovative Technologies in the Context of Adaptation to Climate Change
摘要
In connection with climate change and the adaptive readiness of the forest sector to introduce innovative technologies, mathematical research methodology is used when planning the study. The research provides recommendations for using the case method, conducts a comparative analysis of alternative research strategies, and presents a method for collecting and conducting qualitative analysis of data. The proposed studies are based on a permanent, reliable, and timely processed data collection system aimed at solving practical problems of the economy and ecology. To make the right decision, moving from empirical assessment to scientifically based methods, it is necessary to create a system of observations and experiments aimed at assessing the readiness of forestry to transition to the use of innovative technologies in conditions of adaptation to climate change. When developing recommendations for using the case method in the conditions of adaptation to climate change in the forest complex, the authors conducted a detailed analysis of the impact of climate change on forests. The research analyzed environmental and economic performance using simulation techniques and statistical analysis. Based on the data obtained, the authors made an assumption about future climate changes. Apparently, to minimize the consequences of this process, it is necessary to take precautionary measures to adapt to climate change in sectors such as the forestry industry, which is closely related to weather conditions.
