Microbiological Technology to Extract Bioactive Molecules from Agricultural and Industrial Waste
摘要
This study explores the innovative use of microbiological technology to extract bioactive molecules from agricultural and industrial waste. Agricultural and industrial by-products, often regarded as waste, are rich in bioactive compounds with significant potential for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and industrial applications. Traditional extraction methods have limitations in efficiency and sustainability. Therefore, we investigated the use of biological approaches, including enzyme-assisted extraction and microbial fermentation, to enhance the recovery of these valuable compounds. Our findings demonstrate that specific microorganisms can effectively utilize agricultural wastes as substrates, facilitating the extraction and recovery of bioactive compounds. The application of these biological methods not only improves extraction efficiency but also promotes the sustainable use of waste materials, contributing to waste reduction and environmental protection. This comprehensive review highlights microbiological technologies' potential in valorizing agro-industrial waste, presenting a promising alternative to conventional extraction techniques and paving the way for future research and industrial applications.
