Based on a case study conducted in a metallurgy company, this work aims to verify if the safety culture is uniformly shared across the organization and to identify factors that positively or negatively impact it. A systematic approach was used to characterize the work context and the company’s safety culture, including safety indicators and specific tools to assess safety climate, including workers’ opinions and perceptions regarding risk exposure. The results revealed that the safety climate and safety culture are not uniformly shared throughout the company. However, the obtained insights enabled the design of a training plan to standardize safety regulations and cultivate a cohesive safety culture. Additionally, the company is progressing towards a higher safety culture by adapting methodologies and introducing new work tools. This study underscores the importance of evaluating how well safety practices align with the organization’s specific context and objectives, ensuring a tailored approach to enhancing workplace safety.

摘要
