Everything that surrounds us is made up of numbers and data. Thus, data-driven safety management is an increasingly relevant topic worldwide, as there is a growing increase in the number of tools created and policies on safety and health at work. Data must be properly organized, as it is easier for companies to use it properly, thus promoting the organization’s growth and development. It was found, through reading several scientific articles, that none of the methodologies meet the needs of the work, nor can they be used as a basis. Therefore, given the importance of this topic, this work aimed to develop a model for managing occupational health and safety data. A six-step methodology was implemented to create a data management model for Ergonomics and Occupational Safety managers. Information on how Ergonomics and Occupational Safety managers work, the tools used and the internal and external connections of the team were collected. After gathering information, data was collected to define the indicators that will be part of the model. After developing the model, a process of evaluation and continuous improvement began, aiming to improve it and eliminate any errors that emerged. Implementing the model may allow users to verify the most critical problems and the places where the safety culture is worked on and make efforts to reduce unsafe behaviors/situations. It will help to make conscious and well-founded decisions and safeguard the safety and health of the company’s employees.
