In this chapter, we formally introduce regular stars and rosettes and explain how to construct them accurately using interactive geometry software (IGS). Next, the radial extension method to generate periodic tessellations with one or several regular stars or rosettes as the central motif is introduced, and how to build them using IGS is explained.
