Iron as Biodegradable Implant
摘要
Iron, a vital element in the human body, plays a significant role in physiological interactions. This chapter emphasizes the significance of iron as a vital element in the human body, exploring its interactions within the physiological system. It details iron’s degradation and mechanical characteristics in this environment, examines potential degradation routes both in vitro and in vivo, and discusses the advantages and limitations of iron as a biodegradable material for temporary implants.
