This research paper explores short-range tracking of moving objects using Electro-Optical Tracking Systems (EOTS) in both static and dynamic configurations. The study employs the least squares triangulation method to accurately determine the object's position. EOTS enables target tracking across various platforms, aiding in homing airborne vehicle guidance and weapon fire regulation. The method to compute position of airborne objects using static as well as moving EOTS highlights the significance for improved tracking accuracy and extended range. Despite challenges like camera motion and temporal gaps in EOTS data, the approach proves effective and reliable. The research contributes to advancing short-range tracking capabilities and offers valuable insights for real-world applications.

摘要
