The results of numerical modeling of the relationship between the structure and dynamics of the Vietnamese coastal current and various synoptic processes are presented. The transformation of the current depending on the change of the seasonal monsoon regime is considered. It manifests itself in the destruction of the former and instability of the newly formed hydrodynamic structures. The influence of tropical cyclones (typhoons) on hydrodynamic processes near Vietnam is simulated. It is shown how different trajectories of tropical cyclones generate different hydrodynamic conditions. The distance from the center of tropical cyclone defines the activity of hydrodynamic transformations in different zones of the Vietnamese current.
