This chapter presents the results of a study of the main meteorological characteristics in the area of the Spratly Islands (the South China Sea) for the period 1987–2015. Statistical results show that the main meteorological characteristics in the area of the Spratly Islands are affected by solar radiation and the nature of monsoon winds. The highest average solar radiation is observed in April, the lowest—in January. The highest average air temperature is observed in April, the lowest—in January. The highest average rainfall occurs in November, the lowest—in March. The highest average humidity is in November–December, the lowest in April–May. The largest average evaporation of water occurs in March, the smallest—in December.
