Percutaneous stellate ganglion block (PSGB), like many medical procedures, may have some complications, but most of these, if treated by trained cardiologists, result in a minimum impact on the patient. All scientific studies reporting PSGB complications focused on outpatient procedures performed for antalgic purpose, not on the emergency setting of potentially lethal arrhythmias: in a Pain Management Division, even minor complications may cause inconveniences and be hardly tolerated by patients and clinicians, whereas in case of a potentially lethal condition, such as an electrical storm, they would produce a different response.
