Circular supply chains are gaining more and more attention because they help reduce resource waste and increase resource utilisation efficiency. Data is the driving force behind the current industrial revolution, or Industry 4.0. It is highly anticipated that Industry 4.0 tools and technologies would improve the performance of businesses in the circular economy (CE). Many Industry 4.0 tools like big data, IIoT and Artificial intelligence are integrated in most of the supply chains to improve the circularity. Both academics and business people are paying close attention to Industry 4.0. Both supply chain performance and industry efficiency have been greatly improved by supply chain integration. A pump manufacturing organization is taken as a case study to understand the supply chain practices that have been followed by the industry by integrating Industry 4.0 tools. This chapter aims to provide a thorough and methodical understanding of circular supply chain processes with a pump manufacturing industry case study.
