This edited volume focuses on research in the fields of landscape, tourism and nutrition. The contributions take a social constructivist perspective on landscape and the interrelations between foodscapes and touristscapes. While foodscapes research has become more theoretically and methodologically differentiated since the 1990s, touristscapes research is still comparatively young. With a focus on post-socialist cities, especially Bucharest, topics such as tourism development, gentrification-related transformations and “dark tourism” are analyzed. These are complemented by case studies on urban identity, the legal framework for tourism and the representation of Romanian cuisine. The volume illustrates the potential of interdisciplinary research into the relationships between landscape, tourism and food. They thus provide suggestions for further studies.

摘要
