The Vioda family of bowed string instruments was invented by Prof. Ion DELU based on an interdisciplinary approach—musical, organologic, educational and ergonomic. All instruments are played in “da bracio” manner, with the same fingering as for the violin. The musical scores are in G clef for all instruments. The resulting superb sound is that of a new quasi-baroque style.
