This paper presents a novel miniaturized and reconfigurable filter structure for the C-band applications. The filter allows shifting the bandwidth over a range of 1 GHz while maintaining a filtering bandwidth with a fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 13.33%. The design employs four SMV2019 varactor diodes and a Rogers 4003C substrate with a thickness of 0.8 mm. Co-simulation results demonstrate that the filter offers return losses greater than 25 dB and insertion losses ranging from 2 dB to 0.85 dB. These features make this filter particularly suitable for specific C-band applications.
